The emerald-green K\u00f6nigssee, which is the subject of many legends. Like a fjord, it nestles between the impressive mountain cliffs. Over 8 kilometers long and 1.2 kilometers wide. With its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seenschifffahrt.de\/en\/koenigssee\/\">boat trip<\/a> and the famous pilgrimage church of St. Bartholom\u00e4. From the Jenner, you can see the Watzmann woman directly in front of you and the peaks of the Watzmann (2,713 m) behind it. In between are the smaller Watzmann children. The largest mountain massif in the Berchtesgaden Alps looks like a huge body of water that has turned to stone, its waves wildly churning. Hence the name.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\" style=\"--awb-text-transform:none;\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">THE &#8220;HAGENGEBIRGE&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, it still exists. An almost untouched patch of nature. It lies high above the K\u00f6nigssee. In the Hagengebirge. Here you can experience the unique mountain world up close and observe rare plants and animals such as chamois and ibex.
