If you’re looking for a breathtaking hike in the Bavarian Alps, this panoramic trail on Mount Jenner is a must. Easily accessible via cable car, the route takes you from the summit down to the mid-station, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the way.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Start your adventure with a 20-minute cable car ride from the valley station in Sch\u00f6nau am K\u00f6nigssee to the Jenner summit station, located at around 1,800 meters above sea level. As you ascend, enjoy your first glimpses of the impressive alpine scenery and the emerald-green K\u00f6nigssee far below<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

You might catch paragliders launching from the nearby take-off point\u2014an impressive sight! There are also entrances to two via ferrata routes (secured climbing paths), including one that\u2019s beginner-friendly and suitable for families.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

After a sharp turn, the trail gently winds down to the charming Mitterkaseralm hut. It\u2019s the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a slice of homemade cake or a cool drink in a peaceful alpine setting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The K\u00f6nigsblick: Tip for photographers<\/strong>
\nBefore you start your hike on the mountain, you should definitely make the 70-metre ascent to the “K\u00f6nigsblick<\/a>” viewpoint. The view from here is unforgettable: K\u00f6nigssee lies below, framed by steep cliffs and the dramatic east face of the Watzmann.
