On 12 August, two extraordinary natural phenomena await you: a partial solar eclipse will bathe the evening sky in a special atmosphere, and once darkness falls, the Perseids offer the best chance of spotting shooting stars.
The Halbzeit Restaurant at the midway station is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. Look forward to delicious food and drinks, a unique mountain backdrop and an unforgettable view of the sky.
Suitable solar eclipse glasses will be available for viewing the partial solar eclipse on the Jenner.

Maximum: 8.16 pm
End: 8.25 pm (sunset on the horizon)
Please note that the cable car runs as normal until 5 pm. Return journey via a short footpath to the Hinterbrand car park.
